UKSOL ofgem approved Innovation measure
solar panels with A 25% or 45% eco funding uplift
UKSOL has developed a special optimised Ofgem approved Innovation Measure solar PV module for use with ECO funded projects which incorporates anti-shading technology, online monitoring and additional safety features to deliver higher performance.
An application for an ECO Innovation Measure was made by Happy Energy Solutions Ltd, in partnership with UKSOL and EDF, to Ofgem and now that it has been approved, can be deployed as a heating measure to improve the EPC rating of homes which contain an eligible form of electric heating system*, or where such a heating system is installed alongside. ECO4 funding can used to fund the measure, which includes in social housing homes with an EPC of D or below.
As an approved Innovation Measure, installers can claim between 25 or 45% extra ECO funding (please contact us for more details).
To gain the full 45% uplift, under the UKSOL Ofgem Innovation Measure approval number IM022, it is a requirement that the systems have the Tigo Cloud Connect fitted so that the property owner can monitor the system. Where the resident does not have internet to connect the Tigo Cloud Connect to, or where the property owner is a landlord wishing to have their own direct connectivity, it is a requirement of the approval that a data sim is provided, enabling the system to be monitored and the sim must come with 10 years’ of free data included.
*Eligible heating systems include high heat retention storage heaters, certain electric boilers and heat pumps (including gas hybrid heat pumps). For more information on how to used UKSOL modules in conjunction with ECO4 funding then call us on 01753 910327 or email: eco4@uksol.uk
