UKSOL has developed a special optimised Ofgem approved Innovation Measure solar PV module which incorporates anti-shading technology, online monitoring and additional safety features to deliver higher performance for ECO4 social housing projects.
The panel has been approved for a 45% Innovation uplift by Ofgem. In order to claim the 45% uplift, you would need to also fit the Tigo CCA and TAP, which allows the panels to be monitored remotely by the social landlord. Based on an assumed social housing ABS rate of £15, an 8 panel south facing system in a home smaller than 73m2 would receive an extra £2,216 of Innovation funding and a 10 panel £2,774. These amounts would be adjusted down if the systems are not facing due south using the Ofgem POPT. Alternatively, you can fit the panels without the CCA and TAP and just claim the pre-existing 25% uplift instead.
