UKSOL busy blazing a trail in Vietnam

Buckinghamshire based solar company is buoyed by expanding work in thriving South East Asian market.

UKSOL UK Ltd (UKSOL), a solar exporting company has been busy trading in Vietnam. UKSOL has exported to Vietnam for four years and the signs are increasingly favourable.

On 27 August the British Ambassador to Vietnam, Gareth Ward visited an educational institution, the VinUni campus in Hanoi, which hosts an installation powered by UKSOL solar PV modules. He was clearly impressed and expressed a desire for similar panels to be installed in the Ambassador’s residence in Hanoi.

The UK exporting solar company UKSOL’s significant progress demonstrates there is life beyond Brexit. So far the company has sold many megawatts of solar panels to Vietnam this year. The panels are sold through UKSOL’s exclusive distributor Green Energy Engineering (GEE) based in Hanoi. UKSOL has also installed the panels in a number of government, business and residential locations

.
Andrew Moore, the CEO of UKSOL said: ‘At UKSOL we are playing our part, working in forty nations, exporting solar panels to Asia, Latin America and Africa. For example we have in the past few weeks seen new solar panels arrive in Vietnam, a significant market for us.’

‘I am delighted with the progress UKSOL is making with our partners in Vietnam, we are forging a path to boost UK exports and enabling nations and their communities to combat climate change.’ He added that: ‘It would be remiss not to add that in Vietnam we are witnessing the benefit of Government support; a growing economy and furthermore, the nation has experienced relatively low Covid-19 infections. We are receiving healthy orders in a nation eager to purchase from Europe’
