Latvia Orders UKSOL Solar Modules

A new UKSOL distributor based in Riga, Latvia has ordered UKSOL solar modules.

Currently there is a boom in the installation of solar panels in private housing, the Chairman of the electricity transmission network State JSC Sadales tīkls Sandis Jansons said in an interview to Latvian Radio on August 1.

According to him, in January there were slightly more than 2,000 households with solar panels connected to the ST network, but now the number has approached 6,000. By the end of the year, there could already be 10,000 home electricity producers.

This means that during the year, the number of households that have installed solar panels for self-consumption of energy will have increased five times.
