UKSOL PV modules chosen for 3MW project in Bolivia

Bolivia, July 2, 2024 — UKSOL, the leading British solar photovoltaic (PV) module producer, has been selected to supply PV modules for a major 3MW solar project in Bolivia. This project marks a significant milestone in Bolivia's ongoing efforts to enhance its renewable energy infrastructure and reduce carbon emissions.

The 3MW project, located in the sunny region of Santa Cruz, aims to provide a sustainable and reliable energy source for the local community. UKSOL's high-efficiency PV modules were chosen for their superior performance, durability, and UKSOL's commitment to delivering high-quality solar solutions.

The installation of the PV modules is expected to begin in the coming months, with the project slated for completion by Autumn 2024.

Andrew Moore, CEO of UKSOL, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are thrilled to contribute to Bolivia's renewable energy journey through our exclusive partners Bolpegas. This project not only highlights the global reach of UKSOL's technology but also our commitment to supporting sustainable energy solutions worldwide."

This project aligns with Bolivia's national energy strategy, which focuses on increasing the share of renewable energy in its power mix. The government has been actively promoting solar energy projects to leverage the country's high solar irradiance and create a more sustainable energy landscape.

The UKSOL PV modules chosen for this project are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions while maintaining high efficiency backed by a British 30 yaer warranty. Their deployment in Bolivia is expected to demonstrate the benefits of advanced solar technology in emerging markets.
